Children's Country Holiday Fund

Welcome to CCHF ReUnited
In 1884, the Reverend Samuel Barnett and his wife Henrietta founded the Children’s Country Holidays Fund. Originally called “The Country Holidays Fund to Provide Fresh Air for Ailing London Children” the charity’s aim was to take children from London’s slums to the country or seaside for holidays. To date we have helped over 2 million children!

CCHF Reunited is our way of bringing back as many of these children, host families and volunteers  into our ‘Community of Smiles’ where we can create a world full of memories and inspirational stories.

So if you have any connection at all to the charity, all we want you to do is to Register your details and leave your memories of your time with CCHF.

We hope that the memories and stories, and the achievements of those children we have helped in the past, will inspire today’s (and tomorrow's) children and show them that they can move on towards a brighter future.

NEWS

Our 125th Anniversary in 2009 signalled a historic name change from Children's Country Holidays Fund to CCHF All About KIds.

The Trustees looked for a new name that reflected our modern and current image in today's society that would protect our future sustainability and growth. The word ' Fund ' has changed meaning over the years and the current service we now provide goes beyond a basic ' holiday '.

We now present our new title, keeping the letters 'CCHF ' but adding the words ' All About Kids ' so that we are now known as:

CCHF All About KIds

We feel that this will serve us well for many years to come.
